The profit after tax of Lotte Pakistan PTA has increased to Rs 3.186 billion in the nine month period ended September 30, 2010 as compared to Rs 2.164 billion earned in the corresponding period in 2009. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Tuesday declared that the company's earning per share increased to Rs 2.10 in the period under review against Rs 1.43 in the same period last year.
According to financial results sent to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), the company's net sales increased to Rs 30.612 billion in nine month period this year against Rs 26.065 billion in the same period a year back. The cost of sales increased to Rs 25.900 billion against Rs 22.437 billion.
The company's profit before taxation increased to Rs 4.461 billion in the nine months period this year against Rs 2.860 billion in the same period last year. On quarterly basis, the company's profit after tax increased to Rs 1,010.435 million translating earning per share at Re 0.67 in the three month-period ended September 30, 2010 against profit of Rs 955.831 million with per share earning of Re 0.63 in the same quarter a year back.
