The Talaba Action Committee (TAC) of Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology (FUUFAST), arranged a programme "Roobaroo" for students of Abdul Haq campus to acquaint the vice chancellor of the university with their problems and grievances relating to study and study environment, here on Thursday.
Students briefed the vice chancellor that the problem of non-conductivity of classes, teachers' absenteeism, scarcity of classrooms, unavailability of pure drinking water, unscheduled loadshedding, unavailability of newspapers, computer and Internet in libraries, distorted washrooms and non-provision of point buses.
The vice chancellor calmly listened to the students and promised to resolve all the issues relating to the study and the campus. assured the students to take all possible steps to solve their problems, especially, he will make all efforts for regularisation of classes.
The gathering also discussed with the Registrar Dr Qamar-ul-Haq, the Controller of examination Dr Waqar-ul-Haq, Dean faculty of Arts Farooq Mughal, President (TAC) Ma'az Liaquat, Student Advisor Ghulam Mustufa Niazi and Campus Officer Zainul Abideen, all the political students organisations. Finally, the student removed their black bandages from their arms on the repeated assurance of fulfilment of their demands.-PR
