Four people died in a crash of an Mi-8 helicopter crash used by Russian border guards on the Sakhalin island, off the coast of eastern Russia, Russian media reported Tuesday. "The circumstances of the helicopter crash are unknown," a police official told the Interfax news agency. "According to preliminary information, the helicopter exploded as soon as it touched ground."
All four people aboard the craft were killed, another source told the RIA Novosti agency.
