London copper reversed early gains on Monday, under pressure from a firmer dollar, but threats to supply and the longer term outlook for the greenback supported sentiment. Benchmark third-month Shanghai copper fell 1 percent to 66,380 yuan, while the discount for Shanghai metal to the LME rose to 1,200 yuan from almost 900 yuan on Friday, though well off peaks near 2,400 yuan hit last week.
In other metals zinc fell 2.8 percent in Shanghai.
