Gunship helicopters on Wednesday pounded militants positions on Afghan border in upper Orakzai Agency and killed 18 militants, security official said. The gunship helicopters targeted militants hideouts in upper Orakzai Agency. 22 Taliban militants were injured in the bombing. The forces killed scores of Taliban fighters including some high profile commanders and al Qaeda operatives.
