Former Prime Minister and Convenor Muttahida Muslim League Steering Committee Mir Zafarullah Jamali is going to meet PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif at his Raiwind residence on Thursday (today) in a bid to persuade him to join the MML to steer the country out of prevailing crises.
Sources in the PML-N said here on Wednesday that Mir Zafarullah Jamali had requested Nawaz Sharif for a meeting, which is scheduled for today. According to the sources, no formal agenda of the meeting has been finalised. However, sources said both the leaders would exchange views on country's current political and economic situation besides unification of different factions of Muslim League.
Sources claimed that the PML-N leaders are looking for elements (behind the curtain) who are desirous for unification of different factions of Muslim League. It may be noted that the PML-N after a party meeting a few days ago had already announced that it would not become part of the MML. Mir Zafarullah Jamali had already said that he would go out to unite all the factions of Muslim League in the larger interest of the country. Other leaders of the MML would accompany Mir Zafarullah Jamali during the meeting with Nawaz Sharif.
