A three-member German delegation from Uhde GmbH led by Asadullah Kazmi President Capital Strategies Group called on Federal Minister for Industries & Production Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani here on Thursday. The Minister while welcoming the delegation said that we are badly in need of at least one DAP Fertiliser Plant in the country.
All most the whole demand and consumption of DAP in the country is being imported and billions in foreign exchange on DAP import are being spent from the national exchanger. Karachi and Gawadar are the most suitable places for the establishment of new DAP factory, added Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani.
The delegation told the Minister that they are interested in the establishment of DAP factory in Pakistan and it will take at least 4 years time for completion. They are seriously working over it, the delegation added. Apart from the establishment of new DAP factory, both sides also discussed over matters of mutual interest.-PR
