Sharjeel elected as member of Standing Committee on Home

KARACHI: Under-arrest PPP MPA and former information minister Sharjeel Inam Memon Friday was elected as a member of Sindh Assembly's Standing Committee on Home.

A motion to this effect was moved by Sindh Minister for Food and Parliamentary Affairs Nisar Ahmed Khuhro during the Sindh Assembly session.

Speaker, Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani put the motion to the house and he received high voices of yes from treasury benches and low sounds of no from opposition benches.

Later, the Speaker announced Sharjeel as an elected member of the Standing Committee on Home.
