Chairman Punjab Education Foundation Raja Muhammad Anwar has said the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) is committed to implement the principles of International Convention on the Rights of the Child (ICRC) including provision of education to all the children who cannot afford it.
While addressing a function held in connection with International Day of the Rights of the Children at a PEF partner school at Bhagbanpura Raja said corporal punishment is also strictly banned. Raja Anwar said that education is the fundamental right of every child and PEF is committed to ensure that every child gets best education free of cost. He said that promotion of education is the best accomplishment of human rights agenda.
