Four persons were killed and three others were injured when unidentified gunmen shot them here at Mand area of Balochistan's Turbet district. According to official sources, armed assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on people standing at the bus terminal in Mand.
Resultantly, four persons died instantly while three others received bullet wounds who were rushed to the nearby hospital. Deceased were identified as Naeem, Nadeem, Hussain and Sikandar while injured included Sadam, Hussain, Wasim and Khalil.
"The victims belonged to Lahore and Faisalabad area of Punjab and were leaving for their native towns after returning from Iran, said an official, adding "they illegally crossed into Iran for trade purposes sometimes back."
