DCO Naseem Sadiq has said that a development project has been launched for the beautification and improvement of the Jhang road. Presiding over a meeting held here on Saturday to review the implementation on the work of uplift of Jhang road, he informed that widening of this road would be carried out besides making the green belt.
He maintained that 200 workers of sanitation branch had been assigned the duties of cleanliness of this road and tree plantation would also be started for planting the ornamental and decorated plants. He further informed that storm drain and footpath would also be constructed in the left side of the road towards the Airport.
He directed the concerned officers to remove all kinds of encroachments on this road. The DCO said that beautiful and attractive huts would also be built in the greenbelt besides providing the swings to the children. He informed that the construction work of truck stand on this road had also been started to organise the goods transport system. The DCO said that the Anjuman Tajran Jhang road and govt. institutions located on this road NIBGE, NIAB and PARS had also been associated with the district govt. for the beautification and improvement of the Jhang road.
