The 3rd of November corresponds with the sixth anniversary accession of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Federal Supreme Council unanimously elected Sheikh Khalifa as the UAE President in a meeting held on November 3rd in 2004. following his election, Sheikh Khalifa pledged that he would pursue the legacy and course set by the late Sheikh Zayed.
He has been striving to make the UAE and international financial, cultural artistic and educational hub, Sheikh Khalifa has tackled the repercussions of the global financial crisis by injecting liquidity in the banking and financial institutions in the UAE.
