The need to disseminate positive message and hope has become essential especially in the backdrop of current quagmire of despair which has besieged Pakistan, said the speakers at the launch ceremony of "Pyam-e-Ummeed" a CSR initiative of PharmEvo Pakistan.
The event was addressed by notable figures from the academia, literature and medicine including Pirzada Qasim, vice-chancellor, University of Karachi, Professor Masood Hameed Khan, vice-chancellor, Dow University of Health Sciences, Moin Akhtar, Professor Sahar Ansari and Khwaja Razi Haider. Speakers lauded the initiative and praised the vision behind celebrating 2011 as Pyam-e-umeed and termed it the need of the hour. They said Allama Iqbal's message of "Khudi" and "Subh e Nau" are full of activism and an unending drive for change.-PR
