The Harvard Business School Club of Pakistan held its annual dinner on 11th December at a local hotel here. The event was attended by over 70 alumni of the Harvard Business School and Harvard University. Shahid Kardar, Governor State Bank of Pakistan was invited as the chief guest for the event.
In his welcome remarks, Omar Saeed, President of the HBS Club of Pakistan highlighted the club's activities in Pakistan and its efforts to raise awareness and to highlight the professional achievements of HBS alumni in Pakistan. The Governor then addressed the alumni and explained the crisis facing the country which did not allow a lowering of interest rates. He then took questions from the Harvard alumni. The event concluded with the HBS council members presenting a memento on behalf of the HBS Club to the Governor.-PR
