The annual election of the Karachi Press Club (KPC) for the year 2011 will be held on Saturday |(today). The polling will be conducted from 9am till 5pm without any break. According to the Chairman of the Election Committee, Professor Dr Tauseef Ahmed Khan, the total number of eligible voters is 1,175.
He said that for establishing identity of the voters would have to display with the KPC card, or the NIC or office card. Three panels are in the run and are headed by Khalid Farshori, Khurshid Abbasi and Tahir Hassan Khan.
