South Korean government bond prices fell on Monday in light trading ahead of holidays as China's interest rate increase over the weekend renewed attention on the prospects of rising local inflation pressures. Analysts have already forecast the Bank of Korea would raise interest rates in February or March, but the move by the People's Bank of China to raise its benchmark lending rate dealt a fresh blow to the bond buying sentiment.
