Rumors are making round again with the news that Apple will launch its next version of iPhone SE, the iPhone SE 2 by next year.

The first iPhone SE was launched back in 2016 and was an exception from the other iPhone devices. Apart from being launched earlier in 2016 as compared to the other iPhones that are launched in September or October, the iPhone SE was trimmer and cheaper. Now, after two years, the company will reportedly launch the second version of the device.

Apple might introduce a stylus for iPhone

Reports suggest that the phone will be launched in the first quarter of 2018, considering the fact that the previous iPhone SE was launched in March. The phone will contain a 4-inch display with an Apple A10 chipset – the same chipset used in iPhone 7 and 7+, reported Tech Juice.

Coming in with the same old shape, it is expected that the camera will go through a major upgrade along with the latest iOS 11. The phone would have a 2GB RAM along with 32GB and 128GB storage options. Featuring a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, the phone would probably come in with 1,700mAh battery life.

What’s more interesting is that the device would be manufactured in India by Taiwanese manufacturer, Wistron, and would be available worldwide. Therefore, iPhone SE 2 is possibly to be marketed as a new ‘Make in India’ iPhone by Apple. Reports suggest that the phone would be targeted to markets such as Indonesia and the rest of Southeast Asia, costing somewhere around $450, NDTV reported.
