Chairman, Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association (PCDMA), Muhammad Haroon Agar has said that a 24 member Chinese delegation will visit Pakistan from January 20 ascertain possibility of setting up industrial base for raw-materials in the country.
He said that the delegation comprises of large Chinese industrial group will visit various place in the country and chemical markets to ascertain demand and supply position of chemical and dyes
The delegation will hold meeting with PCDMA to get feedback about Pakistan chemical and dyes market and to develop person to person contacts. He said that if Chinese delegation agreed and find it viable to establish units in Pakistan it will be a big achievement for the country and the raw-material will be available on low-cost as compared to imported.
He said annual import of Chinese chemicals, dyes and plastic raw material is approximately 3 billion dollars. Establishing of unit will help Pakistan in a big way to save foreign exchange.
