Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said he joins the workers of his party in mourning the tragic assassination of Governor Punjab, Shaheed Salmaan Taseer. The Chairman PPP said our party's struggle to uphold the values of Islam, democracy and social democracy will remain continue, said a statement issued here on Thursday.
He said Shaheed Salmaan Taseer has joined his beloved mother Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and his grandfather Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and hundreds of other PPP martyrs, as those willing to lay down their lives for their beliefs. In fact we are strengthened by the sacrifices of our martyrs, he added.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said an egalitarian, tolerant, inclusive and just order that serves all the people of Pakistan remains our goal.
