Iran exported over $513 million worth of non-oil goods to Pakistan in 2010, an official of Trade Promotion Organisation of Iran said here on Tuesday. IRNA news agency quoted Amir Talebi as saying that the amount shows 30% increase as compared to 2009.
Iran also imported $360 million worth of goods from Pakistan in 2010, which is equivalent to the country's imports from the neighbouring country in 2009. An increase in number of items in the two countries' preferential trade list and holding joint trade committees are two major reasons for 30% increase in Iran's exports to Pakistan.
