At least four persons including a woman were gunned down on Thursday in separate incidents. According to details, a bank manager of private bank was gunned down at Moosa Lane in the limits of Baghdadi police station. The deceased Anwar Raza 56, son of Qaiser Raza, resident of Qaiser Raza Building located at Moosa lane, was targeted by unidentified pillion riders when he was sitting along with others in front of his house in the wee hours of Thursday morning.
Police said the victim was the branch manager of NIB Bank Lee Market and belonged to Shia Community. Police registered a case on complain of his brother Akhter Hussain and started investigation in this connection. In another incident, three people including a woman were killed in Madina Colony in the limits of New Karachi Industrial Area police station.
According to police the deceased were identified as Khan Muhammad alias Khan 50, Qamro 45, wife of Khan Muhammad, and Tehmor 25. They said that unidentified culprits were barged into a house no 69/18 Sector 5-G Madina Colony, and opened indiscriminate firing on them. As a result, all of them sustained bullet wounds and succumbed to their injuries on the spot. They said the inhabitants of the area, informed the police that Qamro was a harlot and was running brothel in her house. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Karachi for post-mortem and later handed over to the family.
