A burned body of 70 years old woman was found in the limits of Zaman Town Police station on Wednesday. According to details, the incinerated body of victim, who was identified as Zaibunisa, 70 w/o Late Manzoor Hussain, was found in her house located at Korangi Sector 51-A.
Police sources said that one of her neighbours intimated police that stink and smoke were coming inside her house no 328 located at Korangi Sector 51-A. Reacting on the information, police party reached on spot and found incinerated body of Zaibunisa, who was swaddled with rope on a wooden strip. They said that it was said to be that the victim, who was a mother of three children and living along in a 60 yards house, were burnt by dacoits on resistance.
Meanwhile, SP Korangi Usman Ghani said that she was not killed by dacoits. "It seems to be a murder as the victim Zaibunisa was swaddled with rope before she was burnt," he said. He further said that more than three culprits had done this illicit job and the involvement of her close relative in her murder could not be ruled out.
