Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif has instructed his party's committee on ten-point agenda to concentrate on timely execution of the 'national agenda', setting aside all other engagements.
While chairing party meeting here at Punjab House on Wednesday, the PML-N Chief asked the PML-N committee negotiating with government get implemented the party's 10-point agenda on priority basis. It is worth mentioning that Nawaz Sharif, on January 04, forwarded a 10-point agenda to the government for execution in 45 days with an unannounced ultimatum in case Prime Minister Gilani expressed his inability to do so.

The committee members briefed the meeting and the party's Chief regarding the other day's talks with the committee of the federal government headed by Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh. Nawaz Sharif said that he thanks the Prime Minister replied with "yes" to the PML-N's agenda after due deliberation to implement it within 45 days, adding that the implementation on the national agenda within the prescribed time limit can convert the frustration of the nation into hope. He said that some of the agenda items can be implemented within 45 minutes while for some it needs only 45 hours.
He said that no project could be completed without timeframe, adding that if time period is prescribed for completion of any building then why we can't do it for achieving national goals. The meeting was also attended by Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Pervaiz Rashid.
