Auction of unclaimed vehicles under the supervision of Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate, Karachi Central, Ahsan Khan Durrani, nominee of Supreme Court of Pakistan was held on Thursday from 9 am to 5.00 pm. Large number of people representing all walks of life participated in the auction and praised the transparent method of the proceedings. Every bidder was permitted to participate in a single bid and one vehicle was allowed against one CNIC.
The bids were accepted in consultation with the nominees by the Honourable Judge. On the first day 25 cars and 61 motorcycles were auctioned. A sum of over Rs 9.142 million has been generated.-PR
