Gas pipeline blown up in Dera Bugti

Unidentified armed men blew up pipeline linking Sui gas plant to Paish Bogi gas wells, on Monday morning. When contacted Media Manager Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Anayatullah Ismail confirmed that unknown men had blown up 24-inch diameters gas pipeline supplying gas to purification plant from gas wells of Paish Bogi area of Dera Bugti.
He said blowing up gas supply pipeline in Paish Bogi would not affect gas supply to Balochistan particularly the metropolis Quetta. Law enforcing agencies and Levies Force personnel immediately cordoned off the affected site.
The LEA teams had commenced search operation to trace out and arrest the culprits. A case has been registered against unknown accused and further investigation into the incident was underway.
