Youth shot dead at Machhar Colony

A youth was shot dead on late Tuesday at Machhar Colony in the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. According to police, some two unidentified armed riders opened indiscriminate fire on the victim when he was standing outside his house located at Machhar Colony in Sohrab Goth police station precincts.
They said the unknown attackers escaped after shooting, leaving the victim, who was later identified as Mohammad Gul, 25 son of Umar Gul, in a pool of blood. They said the deceased, who was the resident of Machhar Colony Sohrab Goth, received single bullet on his head and died on the spot and added that his body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy. Furthermore the police said the victim, who hailed from Afghanistan, was labour by his profession and opined that personal enmity was behind his murder. No case was registered till filing the report.
