President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhry in a press statement has expressed his gratitude to the President Asif Ali Zardari for issuing directive to the concerned authorities at Pepco, Wapda and Gepco that necessary arrangements be made to redress grievances of the Sialkot Chamber.
He said that the President was apprised through a submission that Sialkot is badly affected due to severe electricity crisis due to which the export industry is unable to produce exportable goods. It would be an immense national loss if the export industry fails to supply goods to the foreign buyers as per the delivery commitment.
He said that the President of Pakistan has been requested to help the export industry who has been very kind to extend favour to Sialkot. Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhry said that it is imperative that implementation, on urgent basis, is made, on the President's directive, being crucially important for industrial operations. He hoped that the President's directive would be implemented in the best interest of industry of Sialkot.
