Local police found three charred bodies in a house in a nearby village on Sunday. On receiving information, Saddar police reached the site and found three bodies in one room of a house in chak 15-JB, some 50 kms from here. The police shifted the bodies, to the DHQ hospital Chiniot for autopsy.
According to the neighbours, the residents of the house were-Muhammad Khan,50, his mother Khatoon Bibi,90 plus, and a girl Kulsoom Bibi,24. Police identified the bodies with the help of neighbours. The locals told reporters that deceased Muhammad Khan had a land dispute with some persons. DPO Chiniot Rana Shahzad Akbar has constituted a police team to investigate the incident.
