Wapda is executing 5 dams, 3 mega canals, 5 hydropower projects and 2 drainage schemes under 'Vision-2025'. This was briefed to a delegation of the participants of 11th Mid Career Management Course, National Institute of Management (NIM) Peshawar visited Wapda House on Wednesday.
The delegation was headed by NIM Director General Naimatullah Abid. Wapda Member (Power) Muhammad Qasim Khan, Secretary Imtiaz Tajwar and other senior officers were also present on the occasion. While welcoming the delegation, Member (Power) said that both water and power resources are not only vital for economy but also critical for survival of a country. He said that Pakistan is fortunate enough, as it has been blessed with ample resources of water and hydropower.
