Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has given a 60-year imprisonment and confiscation of his entire movable and immovable property to kidnapper of Sahil Naqqash, a five-year old Pakistan-origin British child. The judge of the ATC in Rawalpindi resumed the hearing of the kidnapping case of Sahil Naqqash and after hearing the arguments of the two sides the learnt judge found accused Imran Hussain guilty of kidnapping the boy.
The court announced that after viewing the solid evidences against Imran Hussain, he is being given 60-year imprisonment and his movable and immovable property is being confiscated. Sahil Naqqash was kidnapped on March 3, from his ancestral hometown Jhelum, where he was on a two- week holiday along with his father Naqqash Saeed.
The kidnappers dropped Sahil Naqqash after eleven days, in Dinga village of Kharian Town, some 30 km from Jhelum, after they were paid ransom amount of 100,000 Pound sterling. Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah had confirmed that the ransom amount was paid in a third country and then boy was recovered.
