Recently the KASBIT has organised a tribute session in the honour of Brigadier Rashid Siddiqi (Retd) (Executive Director, PNSC) in recognition of his valuable contribution for Pakistan National Shipping Corporation. Where foreign delegate Mark Nicholas (President, Seven Summit, LLC/Principal at Wesley K. Clark & Associates), Arif Ali Shah Bukhari (Chancellor, KASBIT), were also present in the session.
At the moment of his presence in the hall all the students and management warmly welcomed him by the huge clapping. He appreciated the enormous reception by the all attendants. The programme was started with the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat by the students. Presenting the tribute some students of KASBIT made poems and presented a tribute speech in the honour of Brigadier Rashid Siddiqi. Afterwards the students presented the tribute to the living legend, which was proceeded by the speech of Rashid Siddiqi.
The Executive Director appreciated the KASBIT team and said that I had been to foreign Universities and I proudly say that I find no difference between KASBIT and foreign universities. I appreciate Arif Ali Shah Bukhari and his team for this dedicated effort. Further he said that my experience at KASBIT was pleasant. KASBIT is contributing in imparting education.
We need such institutions, which are encouraging students for higher education and providing scholarship on the merit for deserving students. I congratulate Arif Ali Shah Bukhari (Chancellor), Syed Ali Abbas Abidi (vice-chancellor), Dr Muhammad Mahmud (Dean). The Executive Director, PNSC appreciated the research based question asked by the students and appreciated faculty for providing realistic knowledge and giving confidence to them.-PR
