New Zealand seamer Kyle Mills was ruled out of the World Cup through injury on Saturday, just hours after being heavily fined for an angry bust-up in the quarter-final win over South Africa. Paceman Andy McKay has been called up as a replacement, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said.
Mills strained his left quadricep in the group match against Canada two weeks ago. McKay, with 19 wickets in 13 One-day internationals, is due to arrive in Sri Lanka on Sunday, two days before New Zealand's semi-final.
