Dr Abuld Qadeer Khan said defence of Pakistan after becoming nuclear power has become invincible and now its up to nation to take the country ahead. Addressing telephonically to the members Lahore High Court Bar Association on the invitation extended by Safe Judiciary Committee on the occasion of his 75th birthday here on Friday.
Dr Khan expressed a strong desire to be among the people and the lawyers. Lawyers on the occasion, chanted full-throated slogans in support of Dr Khan and also cut a cake. At this occasion Chairman Safe Judiciary Committee, Abdul Rashid Qureshi reiterating his demand, said in recognition of the meritorious services of Dr Khan, he deserves to have coins with his image released. Qureshi said that like other national heroes, his portrait should be affixed in the public offices and departments. He also called for naming main major roads of the country after Dr A.Q. Khan.
