A protest against pastor Terry Jones' heinous act of burning a copy of the Holy Qur'an was held in Karachi University, here on Friday. The staff members of different faculties of KU, students and other general members took part in a demonstration against the atrocious incident that occurred in the United States of America.
The rally started from arts lobby and ended at the post office of the varsity. The participants shouted slogans against the silence of Muslim countries on the issue and against US authorities for not taking any action against the culprits responsible for the sacrilegious act. The participants demanded punishment, according to international rules and law, for the pastor committing the blasphemous act.
