Saving drowning people: rescue 1122 carry out exercises

The officials of Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) demonstrated the art to rescue drowning people, here in the canal in front of Punjab University Hailey College of Commerce. Punjab University Director Sports Professor Zafar Rasheed, Advisor Student Affairs Iftikhar Ahmad Chaudhry and Director General Rescue 1122 Dr Rizwan Naseer were present on the occasion.
Dr Rizwan Naseer said the Rescue 1122, in collaboration with Punjab University, would arrange water sports for PU students. Iftikhar Ahmad Chaudhry said the PU had always taken maximum participation in relief activities in an emergency situation.
