A three-day flower show concluded on Tuesday was visited by some 50,000 people who have appreciated such initiatives to provide healthy entertainment to families in these days of unrest and social disharmony. District Co-ordination Officer (DCO), Khanewal Rashid Mehmood while addressing the concluding ceremony said that society could be a far better place with greater harmony and brotherhood among people.
"Every person of the society should demonstrate responsibility and play his/her role to cope with challenges such as extremism and terrorism confronting the country". Later, prizes were also distributed among stall organisers. DOR and Focal person Muhammad Ayyub Khan, DDOR Mian Channu Tariq Mehmood, DDOR Kabeerwala Sidra Younas, TMO Muzaffar Baig and other prominent persons were also present on the occasion.
