ABIDJAN: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast had reached around 584,000 tonnes by Dec. 10 since the start of the season on Oct. 1, down from 664,000 tonnes in the same period of the previous season, exporters estimated on Monday.
Exporters estimated that around 40,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to the port of Abidjan and another 34,000 tonnes to San Pedro for a total of 74,000 tonnes delivered between Dec. 4 and 10. That compares with 99,000 tonnes during the same period of last season.
