LONDON: Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) launched a tender on Sunday to sell a cargo loading in Jan. 13-14 which closed on Monday - trade sources.
Bids for the tender were due on Monday when the validity period expires - traders said.
The cargo may have been earmarked for JERA, the Japanese LNG purchasing and trading giant, under a pre-existing arrangement but the buyer declined the volumes, prompting Oman LNG to offer it to the market, a trade source said.
