Copper gained about 2 percent on Friday, as investors continued to bet on demand prospects amid a global economic recovery, while a weaker dollar helped buoy sentiment. Shanghai's most active copper futures contract hit a one-month high of 73,190 yuan ($11,187) a tonne, before closing up 2 percent to 73,160 yuan. It ended the week up 3.9 percent, its biggest weekly rise in two months.
