The Supreme Court on Friday adjourned petitions challenging some clauses of 18th Amendment and fixed the hearing in 3rd week of May, subject to availability of the bench. The hearing, which was fixed for April 18, was adjourned due to NRO review case, already been fixed before a full court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, which will be taken up on April 18.
Besides, a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will also resume the hearing of ZAB reference case on April 18. A statement issued by Supreme Court said that Chief Justice adjourned the case relating to 18th Amendment to the 3rd week of May.
