Jamaat-e-Islami chief, Syed Munawar Hasan has urged Ulema to join hands for foiling enemy's designs against Islam and enforcement of Islamic system in the country. Addressing the concluding session of the Consultative meeting organised by Jamiat Ittehad-ul-Ulema, Pakistan at Mansoora on Friday, he said anti-Islam forces are trying their best to weaken Muslims by creating differences in their ranks.
He said Ulema should frustrate these designs by rising above petty differences and play their role for the solidarity and the integrity of the country and prepare masses for a 'grand Islamic revolution'. Prominent Ulema from all over the country attended the meeting, which was also addressed by President, Jamiat-e-Ittehadul Ulema, Maulana Abdul Malik and Jamiat Secretary, Maulana Ataur Rahman.
The JI chief said that since 9/11, crusades are being fought against the Muslims under US patronage but unfortunately, Muslim rulers, in this war, stand with the US. Muslim rulers are US slaves and obeying US simply to remain in power. He said these pro-US rulers are responsible for the prevailing situation in the country and have sold out the country's honour in their lust for personal ends. These rulers are amassing billions while the masses live from hand to mouth, he maintained.
He noted that US, its allies that consider themselves the only civilised persons have been carrying on the genocide of Muslims. West is trying to keep the world away from Islam, the religion of peace, by labelling Muslims as extremists and terrorists. It has rendered Muslim rulers graceless by making them corrupt and beggars and the rulers were trying to crush the mass movements against them by force.
Munawar said the US is fighting a war against Pakistan while sitting in Afghanistan. He further said that West is patronising desecration of the Holy Qur'an and the profanity of Holy Prophet (SAW) to obstruct advance of Islam. The satanic pastor who had desecrated the Holy Qur'an is being given full protection, he added. He further said that mosques in the west are being closed to stop Muslims from worship. In France, respectable Muslim ladies are being subjected to mental torture through fines for wearing veils.
