PIA Industrial home that was established on the instructions of Managing Director PIA, Nadeem Khan Yousufzai is now fully functional. The Industrial home provides training and employment to the female family members of PIA employees of Pay groups 1 to IV. The members of the Industrial Home are now stitching uniforms for Cleaning Attendants and Technicians.
A simple ceremony was held at PIA Industrial Home where Zareen Khan Yousufzai, wife of Managing Director PIA distributed the first batch of uniforms made at the Industrial Home to PIA employees. Zareen Khan Yousufzai is the Chairperson of PIA Industrial Home and has taken special interest in the development of the industrial home including the training being imparted to the members. In a short span of just three weeks since the inauguration of the Industrial Home; its members have stitched Uniforms and Table Napkins for PIA.-PR
