Bandits loot passenger bus near DMJ

Unknown armed bandits in guise of commuters looted aa passenger bus in Notal area "Unidentified armed robbers in guise of passengers boarded a Nawabshah bound bus and took the driver and the commuters on gunpoint when the vehicle reached near Notal," police said on Sunday. The robbers deprived the passengers of jewellery, cash worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, mobile phone sets and other valuables.
The robbers alighted from the bus at Jamali Pump near Dera Murad Jamali town and managed to escape in the darkness of the night. The police maintained that the passenger bus was going to Nawabshah town of Sindh from Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan. Meanwhile, the victim passengers blamed that the staff of the bus did not bother to search the robbers when they boarded it in guise of commuters in night-time.
