DUBAI: Egypt's Agriculture Ministry issued a decision reaffirming its commitment to accepting wheat imports with up to 0.05 percent of the common grain fungus ergot.
A document seen by Reuters, dated Dec. 12 and titled "Ministerial decree 1761 for 2017," stated that any wheat with ergot above that percentage would be rejected but below that would be treated and accepted. The Agriculture Ministry could not be immediately reached for comment.
