People staged a protest demonstration against electricity loadshedding in Shahdara area here on Tuesday. A large number of people of Kot Abdul Malik and Shahdara gathered at GT Road, burnt tyres and blocked the road for about one hour. The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans against Wapda authorities. They attacked the LESCO office and broke the office furniture and burnt the record, besides damaging the office vehicles.
