Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has posted Rs 91.425 million as net profit in three months' period ended on March 31, 2011 as compared to a net loss of Rs 17.609 million in the corresponding period in 2010. The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held on Wednesday declared that the company's basic earning per share stood at Rs 1.11 in the period under review against per share loss of Re 0.21 in the same period last year.
According to the financial results sent to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), the company's turnover increased to Rs 12.569 billion in this quarter against Rs 10.035 billion in the same quarter last year while cost of sales increased to Rs 12.226 billion against Rs 9.893 billion. The company's profit before taxation increased to Rs 220.358 million in this quarter against Rs 43.820 million in the same quarter last year.
