Pakistan chief selector Mohsin Khan has deferred plans to quit over claims that his selections were ignored for the two-Test series against West Indies. Mohsin Khan says he plans to meet with Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt in Lahore on Thursday to resolve the issue.
Khan is unhappy with some of the players selected for the series, which starts from May 12 in Guyana, and had initially planned to give a news conference in Karachi later Wednesday at which he was going to resign if his player selections were not included.
