Hollywood women to go all black at Golden Globes in protest
Hollywood actresses attending next year's Golden Globes ceremony will reportedly wear black in protest of sexual harassment that has been recently exposed.
Multiple sources confirmed PEOPLE magazine that many major actresses, including presenters and nominees such as Jessica Chastain, Meryl Streep and Emma Stone, are planning to wear all-black looks as a symbol of protest against harassment in Hollywood. Sources say that this will start at the Golden Globes on January 7, though it may extend throughout award season.
Hollywood is all set to host the first award ceremony of the year after the recent wave of sexual harassment cases came out in public.
Main accused Harvey Weinstein has been removed from Bafta, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Directors Guild of America. The decision to award actor Kevin Spacey, with the International Emmy Founders Award was reversed after allegations were made against him.
