The University of Sindh has announced the names of members of Monitoring Committee constituted by the Consultative Committee for establishment of conducive academic environment at the campus. The responsibility regarding constitution of the committee was assigned to the consultative committee under recommendations by All Parties Conference held on April 17, 2011.
The monitoring committee consists of members from SU, intellectuals, civil society and representation of the political parties. Its members are Professor Dr Nazir A. Mughal Vice Chancellor University of Sindh, Muhammad Ibraheem Joyo, Professor Mehtab Akbar Rashidi, Dr Muhammad Suleman Shaikh, Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Taj Joyo, Ibrar Kazi, Jami Chandio, Aajiz Dhamrah (PPP), Roshan Ali Buriro (SUP), Advocate Peeral Majeedano (PP-SB), Zubair Ahmed Memon (PML-F), Muhammad Ayoob Shar (SNF), Asif Baladi (JSQM Bashir Qureshi group), Muhammad Nawaz Zounr (JSQM Areesar), Nand Lal Malhi (STPP), Roshan Birhmani (Awami Tahreek). Professor Dr Parveen Shah Pro Vice Chancellor will be convenor and Abdul Majeed Panhwar, Deputy Registrar of the varsity will act as the secretary of the committee.
