The Provincial Transport Department has outlined various projects to be initiated during the next fiscal 2011-12. According to an announcement here on Saturday by the Transport Department, the development projects of the department will be executed under Annual Development Programme (ADP) and Public Sector Development Projects (PSDP) for the year 2011-12.
It said that various projects were under process for approval, which include construction of bus terminals at Thatta and Badin; Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto inter-cities bus in the province and conversion of two-stroke auto-rickshaws into 4-stroke CNG rickshaws. About the bus terminals, it said that Sindh Chief Minister has approved an amount of Rs 200 million for the purpose and PC-I has been submitted to Planning and Development Department for its approval.
